Wilderness Pack Trips - Overview

Unquestionably, summer pack trips in the wilderness bring together family and the real things in life. You can go nowhere in America and find the genuine sights, smells and sounds, as you can in our wilderness areas. Jason has always told clients of all sorts to forget about the amusement parks this year and experience something real -- "GO ON A PACK TRIP!"

From the time Jason and his brother Lee were five and six, their dad Larry was taking them into the backcountry. On two to three week summer adventures they would ride mules more than 100 miles during the course of the trip.

WCOA encourages you to do the same for your family and friends. We've taken countless groups into the heart of the Selway, from families of all ages to fishing buddies to groups of couples to corporate getaways. One thing holds true for each party, they all left a piece of their heart in THEIR MOUNTAINS.

The Selway offers countless river, stream, & alpine lake fishing opportunities along the way. Just the same, many wilderness adventure seekers don't want to focus on fishing. For these people we have breathtaking views at every corner and all the thrills and challenges of wilderness travel.
